چکیده

Aim . To study clinical and paraclinical parameters lesions of the coronary bed in patients with acute types artery disease (CAD) type 2 diabetes (T2D). Material methods The included 102 both sexes CAD. Patients were analyzed two following groups: first (mean age, 56,6±0,96 years, men/women 34/16) consisted 50 syndrome (ACS) diabetes, second 58,7±1,01 37/15) — 52 without T2D. Along assessment behavioral biological risk factors for CVD, hemodynamic results angiography analyzed. Results In ACS T2D, duration T2D was 5,6±3,7 years. Somatic comorbidities registered 74% group, 53,8% second. According to echocardiography, group people left ventricular ejection fraction lower, mean pulmonary pressure higher compared Stenosis distal third occurred 78% cases, 42%; differences significant (p<0,001). Diffuse CAD also prevailed amounted 58%, 27%. SYNTAX score 29,2 22%, respectively Conclusion prevalence hypertension systolic dysfunction revealed. features flow predominantly lesion, as well an increased angioplasty complications, assessed using score.

Association of the CETP TaqIB Polymorphism with Coronary Artery Disease in Type 2 Diabetic Patients

Abstract      Background and Objective: Diabetes mellitus is the most common risk factor for coronary artery disease (CAD). Cholesteryl ester transfer protein (CETP) TaqIB polymorphism is associated with changes in lipid profile and may be a risk factor for CAD in patients with diabetes. This study aimed to evaluate the association of CETP TaqIB polymorphism with CAD in...

Insulin improves myocardial blood flow in patients with type 2 diabetes and coronary artery disease.

Insulin infusion improves myocardial blood flow (MBF) in healthy subjects. Until now, the effect of insulin on myocardial perfusion in type 2 diabetic subjects with coronary artery disease (CAD) has been unknown. We studied the effects of insulin on MBF in ischemic regions evaluated by single-photon emission-computed tomography and coronary angiography and in nonischemic regions in 43 subjects ...
